The Colombian White Tailed Deer is named after the Colombian River because this is where these deer are located. They are found down at the lower part of the Colombian River. They feed on plants found in forest areas and serve as a major food source for many predators. This deer has become very endangered mainly in Florida, due to many of them being hunted by both predators and humans. The White Tailed Deer's predator list is high enough and to add to it humans are hunting them as well greatly lowering their population. A solution that could be used to help this major issue is to put law restrictions on either how many they hunt or hunting them overall.
